Ziptrak® outdoor blinds
Ziptrak® is an Australian track-guided outdoor blind. The edges of the blind run inside side tracks, so it stays in place on windy days and can stop at any height. It is a popular way to make a balcony or patio usable through Singapore's sun and rain.

HDB open balconies
For HDB flats with open balconies, HDB allows blinds without a permit as long as the balcony still ventilates with the blinds drawn, the blinds can be fully retracted, the material is porous, and the whole system stays within your unit. A Ziptrak® mesh blind fits these rules well. For condos and landed homes, check with your management first and we can advise on fabrics.
